With Christ as our guide and example we celebrate the uniqueness of the individual.
Together we will try to:
Learn from Jesus,
Love like Jesus,
Live like Jesus
At the moment, we are learning all about Celts and what their life was like. We will be making our very own roundhouses. We are currently reading Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone and really enjoying it and hopefully moving onto number 2 very soon! In Science we are learning about rocks and soils.

Things that help us learn
In maths we are learning our 3s, 4s and 8s times tables and we use Timestables Rockstars to help us learn! We use hit the button in class to help us with our times tables too. Maths bot gives us manipulatives online which we have access to in class.
Our Curriculum Map
In Year 3, we learn about Stone Age, Celts, Romans and many more exciting things! Take a look at our Curriculum Map to see what we are going to learn about throughout our Year 3 journey.
RE
Our learning in RE follows the God Matter's programme provided by the Diocese of Portsmouth. Together, we learn about the Catholic faith and other world faiths through topics such as Prayers, Saints and Feasts, Advent, Lent, and Revelation.
Trips
Normally in Year 3, we go to Roman Fishbourne Palace, Butser Ancient Farm and we walk to Farnborough Abbey. Due to the pandemic, we aren’t able to go on any of our normal trips. We will keep you updated if there are any changes and if we are able to go on any virtual visits.
If you have any questions or there is anything urgent that you think I need to know, please contact the School Office either by phone at 01252 542511 or by email at enquiries@st-patricks.hants.sch.uk.
