We operate in sympathy with the teachings of the Catholic Church linking with Our Lady Help of Christians Church in North Camp.

Pandas was opened in 2004 to support the provision of Catholic pre-school education in the local area but is open to both Catholic and non-Catholic children.

We offer children and their parents a service which promotes equality and values diversity.  We aim to add to the life and well-being of our local community through the provision of high quality early years education.

We are committed to providing high quality education and our provision is led by a qualified teacher, who works closely with our Reception class teacher to provide the best opportunities for children throughout the Early years Foundation Stage.  Although admission to the Reception class is by separate application, our children are ready to transition to primary school by the end of their time with us.

Sessions

Pandas is open in line with Hampshire school dates and follows the same inset days as St Patrick's Catholic Primary School.

All day sessions are also available.

We offer a hot meal every lunchtime (at a cost of £3.20 per day) or parents can provide a healthy packed lunch.  Water and a small vegetable or fruit snack is available, parents of children at the pre-school may contact us to discuss other options.

Grant and Fees

We accept EYE funding for 2 and 3 year olds, and for working families.  The current charge for top up fees which are not covered by the grant is £6.75 per hour.

We are able to accept Tax free childcare payments and Childcare vouchers.

We ask that children are collected on time at the end of their sessions.  A late fee will be charged at a flat rate of £5.00, plus £5.00 for every 5 minutes after the end of the session.  The late fee will only be waived in exceptional circumstances.
